Haven lost Felipe Luis to Atletico Madrid this summer, Chelsea have made move to sign Ghanaian international left back Abdul Baba Rahman.
According to Daily Star, Stamford Bridge outfit has reach an agreement to sign Augburg left back, Rahman for a fee of £18million. The player will reportedly earn 65,000 a week over the four years of his contract.
The Ghanaian international impressed in Bundesliga last season making 109 tackles and this has caught the interest of top European clubs including Paris Saint Germain and Juventus.
Augsburg’s high price-tag for Rahman had seen Chelsea linked with a move for Galatasaray’s Alex Telles but it appears they have now secured their top target
With Bratislava ivanovic now 31, his pace has drastically reduced and in no time, mourinho would move Cesar Azpilicueta to his natural right wing while this will automatically pave way for the intending new signing Rahman to occupy the left wing.
Should this deal come through, Rahman would be the second major signing for the Premier League Champions.
