Breaking News: Powerful 20 Goals Striker CONFIRMS Chelsea Imminent Move Ahead Of January Transfer (Not Teixeira)
After failing to find the back of the net in yesterday’s 2-0 victory over Portuguese side FC Porto in the UEFA Champions League, Spanish goal poacher Diego Costa could be finding the exit door to Stamford Bridge as his next destination come January transfer window.
Speaking to Onda Cero in an interview, the 27-year old striker hinted at a return to former club Atletico Madrid in the future.
‘Who knows if I will return to Atletico, life always takes many turns,’ said Costa.
‘Look where Filipe Luis is. The truth is that I wish him well at Atletico, and always keep encouraging them from afar.’
The star who led Chelsea to double titles last season with his 20 goals, has struggled to find form this season. Costa has only managed to score three goals for the Blues which has led to speculation, that the Blues could sold him this winter for a more reliable and clinical striker.
The likes of Alex Teixeira, Gonzalo Higuaín and Zlatan Ibrahimović are already considered as a possible replacement for the Spaniard.
