DONE DEAL: Chelsea Agrees Two Years Deal With Aldershot, Club Chairman Bruce Buck CONFIRMS DEAL
Report making the rounds claims that the EPL defending champions have officially extended the deal for their academy team to play their home game at Aldershot Town EBB stadium for 2016/2017 season.
The Blues u-21 and u-18 team have been using the stadium for about two seasons now and the new deal will means Chelsea will continue to use the Stadium for the fourth season.
Speaking to the press after signing the deal, Chelsea’s chairman Bruce Buck said:
“We are very pleased to continue utilising the facilities at the EBB Stadium, which provides a fitting venue for our Academy players to develop and for Chelsea supporters to watch the teams of the future in action.
“We believe this relationship is mutually beneficial for both Chelsea and Aldershot Town, who have been fantastic hosts to us over the past two-and-a-half seasons.”
The Blues team who is the current defending champions of the UEFA Champions League under 21 played a 0-0 draw against FC Porto’s team yesterday.
