According to Daily Mirror, Real Madrid are looking to offload their sought after Frenchman Karim Benzema for just a mere £17million. That has alerted Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho who has coached Benzema in his 3 year spell at Santiago Bernabeu and a host of other Premier League club namely Arsenal.
The Spanish giants are looking to refund the transfer fee they received from Mesut Ozil from Arsenal and buy Luis Suarez from Liverpool which makes Benzema a surplus to recruitment following a huge chorus of boos from his own supporters at the Bernabue in every touch off the ball.

We need a decent striker on our books (Apart from lukaku) in January. At the min he’s better than any strikers we currently have playing for us and at 25 he still has a bit to go. So Ba out to Newcastle or something Benzema in (And Suarez goes to Madrid). We have no striker off the mark in the league yet and we ain’t gonna win it if this continues.
I cannot see how this player is any better than Torres. At his age Torres was a global star who couldn’t be stopped and Benzema now in a physically poor league? This guy had one or two decent seasons and that’s it. He didn’t really light up the world so it’s a negative move in my opinion if Mourinho sign him. The Eto’o signing still baffles me.
