Eric Dier who plies his trade for Portuguese club Sporting CP ever since he was 10 is said to be interesting Chelsea.
The most recent version of the Daily Mail suggests that Chelsea are in fact leading the race for the 19 year old defender.
Dier who can operate as a Centre Back, Full Back and as a Defensive Midfielder has featured in 15 matches for Sporting last season scoring one goal and assisting one goal. He was also called up for the U-20 World Cup but failed to make any appearances.
