Chelsea have completed a deal for 17-year-old Chilean midfielder Cristian Cuevas for 2.5 million pounds.
He will be sent back on loan to O’Higgins, and will join up with the Blues in July for their pre-season in Asia. The left midfielder has also played for Chile Under-20s.
Cuevas is said to have been given glowing reports by Chelsea scouts watching him while on Chile duty at the 2013 South American Youth Championship.

I think now Roman want to crate a young team that has more pottential and stamina and can give the team many many years…Like arsenal play with young players but roman will not sell players when they rach at their peaks(like arsenal sell them)…
If we look at the kind and number of young talents we have at chelsea, its one of the best in europe. 23 players are loaned out among them most of them are young emerging players and many more playing for our youth team. if we are able to nourish them and give them chances then chelsea future is bright.
