CONFIRMED: Chelsea Agree Deal With Juventus, Medicals To Take Place In The Next Few Hours

Chelsea are yet active in the transfer market with report making the rounds claiming that the EPL defending champions are set to finalize the transfer of Colombia international Juan Cuadrado to Juventus.

According to Goal.com, the 27-year old winger is expected in Turin in the next few hours in other to complete medical tests for a season-long loan move witth an option of buy at the end of the season.

It is also reported that juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta confirmed the news by saying

“There is the opportunity to sign Cuadrado and we’re going for it,”

“Hopefully tomorrow we’ll close the deal, he should arrive on loan for one season.”

Cuadrado moved to Chelsea during this year winter transfer window from Fiorentina but his days seems to be numbered after finding it difficult to make an impact in the Chelsea’s squad. Since his move to Chelsea, the starlet has failed to registered any goal in 15 appearances.

The columbian star has now fallen even further down the pecking order with the arrival of Spain international Pedro Rodriguez who scored the first goal in Chelsea’s hard-fought victory over West Brom in his debut match today.

Cuadrado was signed for £23.3m from Florentina in January but he will now be allowed to move out of London to further his career.
