Confirmed: Falcao To Complete Fernerbahce Switch, Club Gives Go Ahead
With the January transfer window looming ahead, rumours linking players to various clubs has been on the media for weeks now.
Notable of such rumour is the one linking Chelsea front man Radamel Falcao to Turkish giant Fenerbahce.
The Turkish team who only last summer signed Robin Van Persie from Manchester United has issued out a statement to debunk any move for the Chelsea forward Falcao.
However, they have confirmed interested in the service of the Colombia international should the Fotomac newspaper signed him for them. The statement read thus:
“According to the Fotomac newspaper we are going to sign Falcao over the transfer window. Our transfer committee are not actually considering making a move as we are happy with our strikers but considering how keen Fotomac are to make the transfer happen we give them permission to go ahead and sign him for us”. said Fenerbahce.
The Colombian International has been enduring a difficult spell in England after his spell at Manchester United was considered to be a flop. He joined Chelsea after Jose Mourinho promised to return the once most feared striker to form.
Falcao have just one goal to his name this season while he hopes to make an impact in Chelsea to silence critics. Much will be needed from the player as Mourinho seek to return Chelsea back to their form.
