| Dad cannot deny Chelsea’s January pre-contract for Falcao |
The father of Atletico Madrid star Radamel Falcao has refused to deny his son has agreed terms with Chelsea for the January market.
The Daily Mail says Colombian sources suggest a pre-contract agreement has already been agreed with Chelsea and the player.
“I don’t want to talk about any pre-agreements,” said Dad, Radamel Snr. “I spoke to Falcao very briefly yesterday. The minimum release clause in his contract with Atletico Madrid is about 55million Euros, but Falcao doesn’t want to talk figures.”
When asked about the chances of his son playing in the Premier League by the time the next transfer window closes, his father confirmed: “Yes, it’s very likely.”
Well, I would not be surprised Chelsea making a move for Falcao in January but Atletico Madrid will surely not make it easy for Chelsea.
But like always Chelsea have always been linked with the best players and specially the ones who perform great against them. Torres also scores a brace against Chelsea right before we splashed out 50 million on him.
It wouldnt be a surprise seeing Falcao join Chelsea in January specially if Torres doesnt live up to the expectations at Stamford Bridge.
