Exited: Chelsea Key Summer Target Set To Get No.1O Jersey

Chelsea have been handed a major blow after summer target Paul Pogba, have today been handed a new team jersey number.

According to reports, the French midfielder was given the number 10 shirt jersey today amid claims from Juventus director general Giuseppe Marotta that the French international star Pogba could leave the Old Lady this summer.

“It’s obvious that we would like to keep him until he stops playing.

“However, we can’t afford to do anything crazy in terms of salaries and some clubs can guarantee twice as much as us.” said Giuseppe Marotta.

The new jersey number has been worn by club legends such as Michel Platini and Alessandro Del Piero and in recent times Carlos Tevez who departed the Old Lady this summer after helping them win trebles in the Italian domestic league. With this new development, Chelsea’s hope of signing the Seria A winner have been dented.

The 22-year old star has been a major target for top European clubs this summer, with the the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United, Barcelona and Bayern Munich looking forward to securing his signature.
