Just Like Drogba: Calm & Clinical 22 Goals Hit Man On His Way To Chelsea To Replace Diego Costa
Paco Alcacer Valencia forward is rumored to be the next forward to join Chelsea in a bid to boost their options upfront.
Alcacer, 22 year old Spanish International has notched up 5 goals already this season in 10 games so far. With Diego Costa much involved with altercations and controversies than goals this season, Chelsea is bent on looking for a competitor for the striker’s position.
Costa unlike last season has been awful in front of goals with just two goals to his credit. The Valencia forward could be likely alternative for the attacking role as the club seeks to reorganize and get back to winning ways.
The move for Falcao last summer has not been productive and the huge weight of producing goals for the team falls heavily on Diego Costa. Although Remy appears creative and prolific, he hasn’t provided enough competition for Costa.
Alcacer was recently called by national team boss Vincente Del Bosque dropping Diego Costa and he has repaid the trust of the Coach by netting 6 goals in 10 appearances for the star studded Spanish side.
The 22-year old Spaniard scored a total of 22 goals in 68 appearances for the La Liga side last season.
Mourinho would be plucking his hair out in an attempt to restore Chelsea back and with the hopes of getting a Champions League spot after dropping to 16th position with the defeat by Stoke City in the weekend.
