Last Minute Signing: UEFA CUP Winner Set To Completes Chelsea Transfer, Announcement Imminent

With just few hours to the close of the summer transfer window, the EPL defending champions Chelsea are set to loan out young starlet Jeremie Boga on a season-long loan deal to French club Rennes.

This is according to reports from the Guardian, who claims the 18-year old midfielder is heading for the Stamford Bridge exit to pick up regular first-team shirt elsewhere.

The French international moved to Chelsea in 2008 at the under 12 level but he is yet to make a senior appearance for the club. The 18-year old starlet is a very versatile player who can play both at the midfield and wing.

Boga was also part of Chelsea’s under 21 team that won both the UEFA Youth League Cup and FA Youth Cup in 2014/2015 season. He scored a total of 12 goals in 37 appearances for the Blues youth team last season.

Should this deal be completed, the attacking midfielder would join his former team mates Dominic Solanke, Isaiah Brown and Andreas Christensen on a season-long loan for to gain more experience.
