Massive Blow: ASSIST King Suffers Injury, Set To MISS Weekend Match

Before the arrival of Cesc  Fabregas, the very impressive Brazilian star Oscar was the major grafter in the middle of the park for the Blues, however Fabregas mastery and prowess in the midfield has relegated Oscar to a second fiddle player.

Chelsea are now set to miss out on the 23-year old star this weekend after the Blues’ boss Jose Mourinho made it clear that the attacking midfielder had suffered a minor injury during their preparation for the clash against Manchester City on Sunday.

Speaking to Chelsea TV, Mourinho said the 23-year old star is a doubt for this weekend’s game meaning he could play or be ruled out depending on how fast he can recover from the injury.

“Oscar is a doubt after picking up a little injury in training this week”. Said the Mourinho

The Brazilian star had a great game last weekend scoring a fanstastic free kick outside the 18-yard box. He was later substituted for goal keeper Asmir Begovic due to Courtois red card.

Mourinho also reiterated on Courtois red card stating, the shot stopper will not man the post this weekend.

“Thibaut Courtois is suspended but otherwise we will have a fully-fit squad to choose from”.

Summer signing Begovic would be expected to make his Premier League debut with the Blues this weekend.
