Roman Abramovich Set To Break World Record For Two Times UCL Winner

Jose Mourinho position as Chelsea Boss might have received backing from Roman Abramovich and the board after Chelsea suffered their worst start to a league campaign in 37 years.

However reports according to Daily Star has it that firing Mourinho would cost Chelsea £37.5 million, making it a world record pay-out to any Coach in history.

Mourinho who recently said he would leave the club if he doesn’t have the trust of his players anymore was publicly backed by Captain John Terry to continue as the blues manager. Terry was quoted in an interview saying:

“if anyone is going to get us out of this hole it is going to be Jose Mourinho”.

Self-acclaimed as “The Happy One”, Mourinho has also described the current result as the worst is his career.

“this is the worst period in my career with the worst results in my career. said mourinho. “it is something that is helping me to better” it is a great negative experience; I’ve had big challenges. I am not saying it’s a hard challenge, I’m saying it’s the worst period. I have never lost so many matches”.

However, the club have issued a public statement concerning their position on Mourinho status as the manager on their official web site. The statement read:

“The club wants to make it clear that Jose continues to have our full support”. “As Jose has said himself, results have not been good enough and the team’s performances must improve. However, we believe that we have the right manager to turn this season around and that he has the squad to do it.

With this latest development, its will be a shock to see the Portuguese tactician exit the Stamford Bridge door in any time soon.
