Roman Abramovich To Sanction £40m Move For La Liga Winner As Oscar Replacement

Since Roman Abramovich has offered his backing to the Portuguese manager, rumours have been around Stamford Bridge that the Club would spend big in the coming transfer window.

Notably deals that could happen would be the much talked about move for Athletico Madrid Midfielder Koke.

Although the move for Koke failed during the summer despite Chelsea interest for the player, the player bluntly refused to jump ship to the premier League reigning champions.

The 23-year old would not come for cheap as an offer of £40million is said to be on the cards for the Athletico Madrid star man.

His contribution to Athletico in 2013-14 Season was immense as he led the team to winning the Spanish La Liga title in 18-years breaking the dominance of Real Madrid and Barcelona in Spain.

Chelsea players have all come under scrutiny for their below par performances this season and the acquisition of new signings could serve as a boost for the team.

More so, Barcelona are also keen of signing the midfielder that he been tipped to take over Xavi’s position at the Club having joined Al sadd at the end of last season.

Koke is known for his exclusive passing ability, ball retention capabilities and ability to create attack
