Why Isco should be the main transfer target for Chelsea this January!

Isco is a Spanish under-21 international who plays for Malaga in Spain’s La Liga. He is thought to be one of the brightest talents to emerge from Spain in recent years. It has been reported by The Mirror Football that Chelsea is close to sealing the deal to capture him for 15 million pounds. And if he does come to Stamford Bridge, he will be instrumental to the attacking style Chelsea has adopted this season. He knows the Spanish players like Mata, Torres, Azpilicueta and Romeu which would make it easier for him to adapt to England and the premier league style of play quickly.

For the last decade Chelsea have been blamed and talked about by the media for playing a direct and defensive style that won the premier league back-to-back in 2004/5 and 2005/6 season also brought success to Mourinho’s squad. This approach is over now with players like Mata, Hazard and Oscar playing the beautiful passing game that the owner Roman Abramovich craves so much. He wanted to see Barcelona in blue and that was sole reason behind the arrival of Andre Villas-Boas from Porto in summer of 2011.  Even though he didn’t deliver good results along, Chelsea started to play more attractive style of football inspired by the vision and amazing creativity of Juan Mata.  Since then the club have won the champions league and FA Cup by playing much more defensive than they are know.

And the squad at the moment seems to be adopted to play the passing style than the defensive. The only thing missing at the moment is a creative player orchestrating the play from deeper role. Though Oscar has done brilliantly in that position, he seems to lack the physical aspect and being 21, he will develop into being the type of player that Pirlo currently is.

But Isco has already proven in Malaga by playing against teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid that he is capable enough to unlock defenses and also score a goal when needed. Isco is one of the highest rated young players in Spain and has been capped for every level of international football bar the full squad (which should not be too long in the coming). Isco is one of the highest rated young players in Spain and has been capped for every level of an international football bar the full squad (which should not be too long in the coming). He had recently won the FIFA Golden Boy 2012 award which is given to the best player playing in Europe who is under the age of 21. The attacking midfielder has scored 4 league goals in his 18 league appearances for Malaga and has created 19 chances for his team mates. Isco also has a fantastic 59% shot accuracy, a trait that Chelsea will find very useful as they push for a Champions League position. He rarely misplaces a pass and he would be a perfect successor to the seemingly departing legend Frank Lampard.

And with Malaga keen to cash in on their top players to pay their taxes and reduce their financial difficulties, it’s now or never to get him to Stamford Bridge. According to reports, Malaga might agree to sale for 15million pound. So, let’s hope that this deal comes to conclusion sooner rather than late.

If this happens, expect Moses to become a part-time striker and Ramires to be a holding midfielder from now on.

i would love to see Isco at chelsea. isco is one of the best and young talented players in the world. some people are saying we dont need him, why ?

top 8 young talents around the world
    neymar
    hazard
    isco
    mario gotze
    el shaarawy
    oscar
    lucas moura
    christian eriksen

why would you not want a player of isco’s talent.
    (1) hes young. only 20 years of age

    (2) hes cheap, 15m for isco is a bargain and this is the best chance for us to sign him before he signs a new contract and his buy-out clause goes up to like 30-40million or any other club signs him e.g. man city, real madrid etc.

(3)hes a good player and would help us now and in the future and his link up play with the likes of mata, hazard and oscar would be amazing and dangerous (imagine mata, hazard on the wings and isco in N10 role and oscar feeding from the pivot, all four of them would tearing every defenses apart)

(4)he will have value in the transfer market for the future. let in 2-4years he continues to become a best player, we will difinately have offers of 35+million offers coming in.

theres somy other good reasons. but im sure there are advantages than disadvantages

if we get isco then i would move oscar to the pivot to partner with whoever it is.

he is a fantastic player to watch. i would really love to see him playing in blue shirt, and his 15m price tag just make the deal too good to ignore.
