Chelsea rumored to have reached verbal agreement with brilliant German midfielder

Prior to signing Cesc Fabregas, Chelsea was constantly linked with Real Madrid’s World Cup winning midfielder Sami Khedira. And if reports are to be believed, we haven’t quite stopped the chase.

Caughtoffside has reported that Chelsea Football Club has reached a verbal agreement to sign the brilliant midfielder on a free transfer in the next summer. Chelsea was hesitant to pay any transfer fee for the player this season as he was on his last year of his current contract. And this means that he will be out of contract after this season, seemingly ready to join the West London outfits. Arsenal was also interested in acquiring the services of this man this window, however couldn’t reach an agreement with Real Madrid, and it is rumoured that the player will prefer a move to Chelsea over Arsenal in the next window as the prospect of working with Jose Mourinho seems to interest him.

This will be a brilliant move for both the club as well as the player as his playing technique and experience can only benefit the club’s high trophy expectations. However, the question can be asked of where he would fit in with Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas already seeming untouchable at the double pivot.

What do you think about this move? Do you want it to happen? Can you imagine a formation where he can fit in with Nemanja and Cesc? Do post your views and opinions in the comments section below.

As It’s still rumors, I don’t prefer to get deeply involved into this panel, but because night rumors becomes a story of the truth in the immediate day time, yet I’m involved as it might happen. On my side, It’s a sound but tricky transfer for Chelsea when considering the successful inputs of Matic, Fabrigas and their banchers Ramires and Mikel Obi, It seems hard for Chelsea and Khedira himself accepting to join Chelsea currently as his uncontrolable disire of starting remains the main reason to leave Real Madrid, with Chelsea won’t be captivated. However, with the Mourinho system to use everybody in chances and on formulation and opponent basis which may prove the reality as each of them participate, may convience the Germany Mid fielder to sign in the Blues while red gunners would be an impresive signing for him.

It will be a brilliant purchase, but I see it difficult for him making the grade at Chelsea.

I hope its not true. If it is, we can all kiss ginkel, chalobah, baker goodbye. Leave d midield as it is. Nxt season, get rid of mikel and bring back ginkel. Simple. The midfield shd not be touched. I don’t see any midfield player leaving us asides maybe mikel so no need to buy anyone.

I don’t think we need the guy as much as arsenal needs him. so I think CFC should leave and try ro build up our youths by giving them much playing time in the senior squad.
