Chelsea are planning to test Juventus’ resolve for Paul Pogba.
The Mail on Sunday says Chelsea are considering stumping up the staggering £60million Juventus want for Pogba. The Londoners are putting together the most lucrative package in the club’s history to entice the highly rated France midfielder, who is valued at around €75 million by Juventus.
Manchester United, who had Pogba as a scholar, want to re-sign him – but not at that price. Pogba has been impressive during France’s run to the last 16 of the World Cup in Brazil where they take on Nigeria in Brasilia on Monday.
However, Chelsea see the 21-year-old France international as a good investment, not least because his Premier League academy status, just like Cesc Fabregas, helps the club conform to UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules.
Pogba would be an excellent addition, Looks an amazing allround athlete, Lad can do it all, traits of pirlo and vidal in his game.
Very good signing! Buying 21 yrs old £60M is cheaper than buying 28 yr sold by £20M. He can be a hero for 10 or more yrs. We can also do busines selling him while he reaches at 27yr… Investing more than £100m for a single player is not costy for player who serve z club like what Lampard served CFC….

Pogba is good………… Just like if you ask we sign Khedira, it’s good too. But we have already a lot of CM, DM and Wingers, we really need is strikers (no matter which kind of strikers, strong style like Drogba, our skillful and speedy style, what so ever) who can give us GOAL!!!! We get nothing last season and our weakest link is our strikers. Even we signed D Costa, it’s not enough. Once he injured or suspended, we need at least 3-4 world class strikers making us high flexibility in choosing our striker depending on different opponent and bigger power on our back up if any of them suffering from injury. Don’t just spend money on buying midfield. We have enough top classes midfield and wingers, leave some places for our younger talents if we really want to add any member at the midfield.
Pogba is tremendously gifted, he does things effortless, He will be a great addition to the team and imagine Pogba pairing with Matic and Fab, Hazard, Oscar and Costa infront…… W’ll be too good to handle for any team in Europe….. Ktbffh!!!
In opinion, I don’t think he is worth that much. He is good, fine, but £60m is way too much for a 21yrs old player. How much could we get on Hazard should we decide to cash in on him, and in my opinion, Hazard is a better player compared with Pogba. So I think it is purely rip off. My opinion anyway.
@Tunday, ur right….. Really the Price is quiet too much for Pogba and Juve put that price on him because they dont want to sell not because he really worth it….. On bringing Hazard to this, Ronaldo is still world and Madrid’s best and they made Bale much expensive than Ronaldo….. Moreover we can’t compare Hazard to Pogba, there’s big difference btwn them and they Offers different things. Its like comparing Iniesta to Yaya.

To me, I know a lot of ppl wld criticize but pogba is just as good as ginkel. I’ve known ginkel for a long time now, if given the chance, ppl wld be shocked at how incredibly talented he is. The fact he was bought for just 8m might make ppl doubt his quality but the boy is class. He does nothing fancy like dribbles or attempt 60 yard passes but the boy is tidy and efficient. He is exactly like pogba. Ginkel claims mouriho believes in him, I hope it shows in enough playing time next season- matic, ramires, fabregas, ginkel (hopefully mikel won’t be around) seems ok for a space of 2. Ginkel is special. He just needs a chance.
as correctly said by many pogba is a great player and will be good bt we need to be realistic we hav a manager who doesn’t rotate the squad a lot and likes to stick to a specific starting 11 which has worked. so getting pogba will only set others restless. so we can sign him if we have a good squad rotation

He is a good player but should not be high prized. There are better player with price not that high.
