Chelsea have officially announced the transfer of Chile international U20 star Cristian Cuevas on a season-long loan move to Sint-Truidense.
This was made known by Chelsea’s official website today that the 20-year old left back star will ply his trade next season with Belgium second division side.
“The 20-year-old spent last term on loan at Universidad de Chile and will now continue his development in the Belgian top division”. Via Chelsea’s official site.
The 20-year old star moved to Chelsea in 2013 from o’higgins but has spent most of his playing career on loan outside England to gain more experience and first team football. He was sent on a season loan move to Universidad de Chile last summer.
Cuevas will now join the lists of Chelsea’s young stars such as Dominic Solanke, Patrick Bamford, Marco van Ginkel on loan this season.
