DONE DEAL: Chelsea Target Agrees 5-years Deal, To Earn €95,000-a-week

Spanish forward Pedro Rodriguez is set to join Chelsea‘s arch rival Manchester United after spending eleven successful seasons with the Catalan giant Barcelona.

According to Metro, the 28-years old World Cup winner has agreed a term on a five year deal worth £3.5million-a-season with the Red Devil.

Meanwhile, Metro claims this report was made known to them by Jaime Lorenzo, the president of Raqui San Isidro, the first professional club that Pedro played for in Spain.

‘The player was here working at a soccer school a few weeks back and his friends already know he is going.

‘And the other day I saw Pedro’s mum in a furniture shop and she told me that he is going to England. I believe it’s a good challenge for him and it means he will get more playing time.’ said Lorenzo.

Petro had been tipped to leave Camp Nou this season after falling down the pecking order in manager Luis Enrique attacking options, behind Lionel Messi, Luiz suarez and Neymar.

The Spain international has been a major target for Chelsea,Arsenal and Manchester United in the last few weeks but it seems the later has now won the race for his signature.

Should this deal go through, Pedro would be the second La Liga star Chelsea would be missing out on this summer after loosing Arda Turan to Barcelona.
