Just IN: Abramovich & Mourinho To Sanction 19 goals England Striker As Falcao Replacement In January

After an outstanding performance with the Championship side Middlesbrough last season, England international striker Patrick Bamford who is currently on a season-long loan spell with premiership side Crystal Palace is set to be recalled back to Chelsea due to lack of playing time.

The 22-year old striker was very impressive last season in the Championship, scoring a total of 19 goals for the Boro. His performance earned him nominations for both the Championship player of the year and young player of the year. Bamford however won the former while the later award was given to Dele Ali of MK Dons.

Due to lack of playing time given to the striker in Crystal Palace, Various reports claim that Chelsea are set to recall the young star back to Stamford Bridge in January as a potential replacement for misfiring Radamel Falcao or could be loaned out to club willing to play him regularly.

However, it may be argued that the 22-year old striker is not fit enough to compete in the attacking force of Chelsea due to his experience and the level of exposure, but we must consider his fellow competitor last season Dele Ali, who is now a force to reckon with in Tottenham squad.

It is also reported that Chelsea’s owner Roman Abramovich is in support of this move. He believes the England international is one of the young star Chelsea awaits to take over the striking role in future.
