Report: Chelsea are on the verge of their first summer signing.

With the football season drawing to a close, the Summer Transfer Window draws ever closer. The Daily Mail report that the blues are destined to sign Croatian progidy Mario Pasalic next week for a fee of £3M from Hajduk Splik.

Who is Mario Pasalic?

Mario Pasalic is a German born Croatian footballer who plays for Hajduk Split in the Prva NHL (the croatian league).

Mario Pasalic is a 19-year-old midfielder who’s managed 27 appearances this season, scoring an impressive tally of 11 goals.

In January Pasalic’s agent said “There are several interested clubs from Italy, Germany and Spain, and it is possible that the first two weeks of preparation activity will be with Chelsea. But the decision is Jose Mourinho’s.”

Daily Mail are not the only source to discuss this possible transfer with others reporting that a pre-contract has already been agreed. The teen is expected to be loaned out next season following the fate of fellow forwards Ulises Davila and Stipe Perica.

Pacey and looks good in composure on the ball. Mindset seems to be attack in tight spaces but I don’t like to judge from clips. Every player has special moments in games, even if it’s just one brilliant pass, run and penetrative play move or whether it’s in defense.

    What of other loaned players?

Could be a good signing. Can play deep or high. Reminds me of a young Lamps with his late runs into the box and good finishing ability. Lets hope we give him a chance

Looks good, but I doubt if he’ll get first team football. Anyone noticed Jose doesn’t rotate much?
