Chelsea Football Club has confirmed that an agreement has been reached for the signing of Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid. Costa , who represented Spain in their terrible World Cup campaign, had a buy-out clause of £32 million and will be Chelsea’s second big signing of the summer after the capture of Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona.

@adam that’s it. Let’s HOPE he wld be great. I’m not 100 percent sure of how he wld fit with chelsea style but one thing that stands for him is his hunger to score. I hope our strikeforce. For next season is COSTA/TORRES/LUKAKU. If lukaku goes then Bamford. Cos I’m sure torres is not going this season. There is no need to buy another striker or midfielder or anything. Leave the squad as it is.

Good but one world class striker is not enough. Please sign 2-3 world class strikers if we want trophy. Forget Torres, Ba and Lukaku. We can keep one of them as our number 4 striker. But we depend on only Costa and Ba and Lukaku, we must be no trophy again. I don’t agree with some of our friends here saying that we can depend on 3 strikers only. We need flexibility in our tactics and enough back up if we have to compete with M City in EPL and R Madrid / B Munich in European Champion. All of them have 4-5 world class goal finishing strikers. If Costa suffer from injury or suspend, we will walk the same way like our last season that we cannot produce any goal by our strikers. And lastly don’t over rate Lukaku. He still needs some time to be grown up to be a world class.
Mour is best is right! Blue has to sign again at least one best striker to compete with big clubs. Lukaku needs at least 2 or more yrs loan to play for chelsea. He is not in a position to compete even with Ba or Torres.
