According to the newspaper the PSG midfielder is demanding a contract of £60,000 a week, a staggering 1,200% rise from his current £5,000 a week contract.

Following the arrival of Yohan Cabaye in the January Transfer Window, and facing stiff competition from the likes of Blaise Matuidi, Marco Verratti and Thiago Motta at the base of PSG’s midfield. However he has managed an impressive total of 30 appearances this season.

Jose Mourinho is deemed to be interested in the teenager and expect that a transfer fee of £8,000,000 would be enough to seal his signature, and beat Arsenal and Juventus to the signing.

Despite the interest shown in the midfielder PSG manager Laurent Blanc had expressed his desire to keep the young talent.

“I have a lot of esteem for that boy who has a big potential,” the World Cup winner told reporters at a press conference.

“During the first part of the season he proved he could expect more time in the team.

“Unfortunately he picked up a knee injury in January and Yohan Cabaye joined the club, which was a needed reinforcement because we didn’t have enough midfielders.

“I can understand he is impatient. But he must not forget he belongs to a very big club and you have to be patient in life.

“I hope he will stay at the club.”
